Women.com cuts 85 jobs

Women.com, a US-based provider of content and services for women, has cut 25 per cent of its workforce in a bid to lower its operating costs and reach profitability.

NEWS In a statement, Marleen McDaniel, chairman and CEO of Women.com, said: "The streamlining of our business operations reflects the need for Women.com to remain nimble in a fluctuating internet industry." The company will focus on its large, established accounts to help it achieve its targets.
