Ginger Online chief quits

NEWS Ginger Online runs the Virgin Radio website, as well as the site for the recently axed TFI Friday television show. Ousby is leaving to set up his own new media business, though the exact nature of the plans is rather vague. A spokeswoman for Ginger said: "John has been here for eight years. He just felt he had achieved all he could here, and it's time to move on." As yet, none of his staff plan to move with him, she said. Ousby set up Virgin Radio's website in March 1996. Virgin Radio was the first in Europe to stream live over the internet.
