NEWS In return for handing over certain property rights, Railtrack will receive a 15 per cent stake in Ipsaris, the high-capacity optical network subsidiary of Marconi. Ipsaris will extend its network onto Railtrack land over the next 12 months and will be the connectivity partner to Euromast.
Railtrack and Marconi link to raise 3G masts
Telecommunications equipment firm Marconi and Railtrack have announced they will together form Euromast, a joint venture to erect 5000 3G masts on Railtrack land.
