Autodesk turns tables on tech slowdown

NEWS Best known for its AutoCAD software, the California-based firm saw its revenues rise to $243m from $226.7m for the same period the previous year on the back of strong company-wide sales. Net revenues for the year ended 31 January 2001 grew 10 per cent to $936m against a figure of $848 million for fiscal 2000. Autodesk raised expectations for 2002 and projected revenues of between $1.025bn and $1.065bn, compared with current forecasts of $1.01bn.
