NEWS The ISP has now ceased to provide internet access based on BT's SurfTime package, having been in dispute with the telco over its alleged failure to meet the contracted delivery date for SurfTime last summer. SniffOut said in a statement: "Unfortunately, BT has consistently refused to acknowledge any liability arising from its written commitment. It has also been insisting that rent is due from the time the service was finally supplied in late October. "Sniff Out's shareholders were, in effect, being asked to pay for BT's own mistakes and failures - something that they have quite rightly refused to sanction." Members with accounts opened in the years prior to the introduction of SurfTime will be able to use their accounts as normal. Email and web space access will be available to SurfTime linked members via any other dial-in. The directors will be working to arrange refunds to recently subscribed SurfTime linked members. Sniff Out's portal site will continue to operate as normal.
