Freeserve takes on Lennox Lewis

Freeserve today announced a deal with heavyweight boxer Lennox Lewis to broadcast the preparations for his next fight in South Africa over the web.

NEWS As part of the deal, Freeserve subscribers will be allowed exclusive access to the reigning world champion's dressing room before and after the fight, plus daily coverage of life inside the Lewis camp. The ISP has also teamed up with Vodafone to offer Freeserve subscribers the opportunity to access the coverage via their mobile phones. Paul Barker, a spokesman for Freeserve, confirmed that the deal will run for three years, which would cover any fight with former champion Mike Tyson, which could prove a major money-spinner for the ISP. Freeserve coverage from the training camp will start on 12 April, though the fight itself between Lewis and his American challenger Hasim Rahman will be covered by the BBC on 22 April.
