MSN loses its head

The head of Microsoft's MSN portal, Brad Chase, is to stand down following a business restructure announced by the company last week.

NEWS He is expected to stay with the company, although details of a new role have not been released. Chase has been with Microsoft for 13 years and was involved in the launch of Windows 95 and the Internet Explorer browser. He will be replaced by Microsoft's vice president, Yusuf Mehdi.
