DoCoMo says cheerio to Verio dough

NEWS NTT, Japan's largest telecoms company and owners of the pioneering NTT DoCoMo mobile network, paid $5.5bn for Verio last August. It is now compiling a 10-year business plan for the company, which is likely to value Verio at a much lower figure. Verio, like most mobile companies, has been hammered by the downturn in the internet sector.
