NEWS In addition Thus has appointed ScottishPower's finance director David Nish as a non-executive director of the company. Charles Berry joined ScottishPower 10 years ago from French group Compagnie General des Eaux, which is now Vivendi. ScottishPower is a majority shareholder in Thus.

Scottish telecoms group Thus has named ScottishPower's executive director Charles Berry as its new chairman, with former head Ian Russell stepping aside to become a chief executive at ScottishPower.
