Riversoft results fail to save staff

Network management software maker Riversoft has posted narrowed losses in first quarter results, but has axed 6.8 per cent of it staff.

NEWS Operating loss for the quarter ending 31 March was £9.3m - an 18 per cent reduction on Q4 of last year. Revenue jumped 13 per cent on the fourth quarter of 2000 and 1,467 per cent on the year ago period to £2.6m. But the results have been accompanied by 20 job losses and a reduction in spending for the rest of the year.
