easyJet sales get web boost

Sales of easyJet flights via the web now account for 89.2 per cent of total sales - up from 64.3 per cent last year.

NEWS The low cost flight specialist has seen passenger numbers increase from 498,705 in April 2000 to 609,085 as of last month. On the back of this positive news, the company's share price was up two per cent. In November easyJet floated at a price of 310p per share. This morning it was worth 424p.
