NEWS Italian ISP Tiscali is to go for a second listing on the Paris Nouveau Marche as well as launching a Europe-wide ISP next month in pursuit of top spot in the European ISP market. Renato Soru, CEO of Tiscali, told journalists in Paris: "The motivation for a Paris listing is our presence in France." He added that Tiscali had no plans to list in other European countries. Tiscali is Europe's second-largest ISP, with seven million subscribers, after Germany's T-Online, and Soru has made no secret of his plans to make it the leading ISP. He said that he expected the company to be profitable by the end of this year. The ISP recently bought LibertySurf, France's number three ISP and last month bought the UK's LineOne. It is already listed on Italy's Nuevo Mercato.
