Online undies site is pants

You can't say we didn't warn you...

NEWS The website that humiliated an apparently kinky boyfriend seemed to be too good to be true - and sadly it was. The site offered 21 pictures of a young man in a fetching red bra and pants - supposedly an act of revenge by his ex-girlfriend. The ex said she posted the pictures to get back at him after he slept with her best friend. By early afternoon the story had spread as far as Australia. It also made TV news bulletins in Canada, Malaysia and the US. Sadly a call to the company responsible for hosting the site revealed it was a hoax - as predicted by silicon.com earlier today. Edward Orr, MD of ucp - the company behind uboot.com - said: "It's a hoax, we wanted to get some interest around our product. We've had over a hundred thousand visitors to the page today." He said the company had yet to see a follow-through in terms of registered users. Orr revealed that the man in the red pants is Neil McLoud, a model. The hoax was set up to promote a new service offering picture downloads to mobile phones. For the full picture see: http://www.uboot.com/u/pimptress.
