NEWS Monster.com and hotjobs.com are set to merge in a deal reported to be worth $460m. Monster.com will acquire hotjobs.com in order to expand its portfolio of services and reach more job seekers. TMP Worldwide, Monster's parent company, has said that hotjobs.com will remain a standalone site. And although the boards of both companies have approved the move, it is still subject to approval of hotjobs.com shareholders. Entering the TMP Worldwide fold will enable hotjobs.com to cross sell its services and make a bid for international growth.
