Novell completes $266m Cambridge takeover

All one big happy family...

NEWS Novell has completed its acquisition of systems integration company Cambridge Technology Partners in a $266m all-stock transaction. Cambridge will retain its name become a wholly owned subsidiary of the internet services giant.
The management team has been reshuffled with former Novell CEO Eric Schmidt being replaced by current Cambridge CEO and president Jack Messman. Schmidt remains as chairman of the company. As part of the deal Novell exchanged 0.668 shares of common stock for each Cambridge share.
