NEWS Lastminute.com is buying food ordering site Urbanbite.com in an all-share deal. Urbanbite.com allows visitors to its site to place orders over the web with take-away restaurants. It claims to handle thousands of orders every month with more than 450 UK restaurants participating in its scheme. Lastminute's offer, valued at £140,000, is based on its closing share price of 31.5p on Friday. Urbanbite, which was formed in December 1999, has about E100,000 (£61,000) left in the bank. Later today an application will be made to get the new allocation of shares admitted to the official list so trading can start on Thursday.
