AOL Time Warner in harmony over net music plans

Bangs the big bass drum for online distribution

NEWS AOL Time Warner is set to flesh out plans for a number of online music distribution initiatives later today. This morning's FT reports that the group will announce the creation of the Artist Discovery Network, which will link to its paid subscription service when it's launched later in the year. The Artist Discovery Network will feature the work of musicians owned by various labels. The paper also claims that AOL Time Warner will announce details about Radio@AOL, which will offer 50 channels of programming through AOL's internet service. Both initiatives will link to MusicNet, a subscription based service expected to be launched in the autumn.
