NEWS Toys R Us and Amazon have today launched a co-branded website to sell toys online. The tie up will see Amazon handle technical issues, customer service and product fulfilment for a new store called Imaginarium.com, while Toys R Us will manage inventory and merchandising. The deal, which continues the efforts by Toys R Us to consolidate an online presence, follow a similar move in May in which the two companies joined forces to open Babiesrus.com. Imaginarium.com will allow shoppers to search for learning toys in seven specific skill areas including independent play, linguistics, maths, music, motor skills, and visual skills.
