AOL: Hundreds more jobs face the chop

Ad slump continues to sting...

NEWS AOL Time Warner is set to make substantial job cuts at its online unit. Hundreds of jobs are to be axed at the unit's headquarters in Dulles, Virginia, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal. In January, 725 workers at the unit lost their jobs following the AOL Time Warner merger. The company is making the cuts because of declining revenue from online advertising. AOL declined to comment about the layoffs.
