NEWS Women choose Egg.com when it comes to online financial services. Figures for July show that over the last six months there has been a 14 per cent increase in the number of women using the Egg site. According to a survey by Nielsen//NetRatings, 44 per cent of Egg's visitors are female. A figure that gives it a two per cent lead over Lloyds TSB. Overall, Egg has benefited from a 45 per cent increase in its total number of unique users during this same period. Since February, the number has ballooned by 260,000 to over 820,000 giving the company a 30,000 lead over its nearest rival.
