BT limits unlimited net use

"BT Anytime is not an always-on product"

NEWS BT Openworld has cautioned 400 subscribers to its BT Anytime unlimited net access product, warning them about excessive use. BT Openworld's BT Anytime service allows unmetered dial-up net access for a set monthly fee - but there are in fact limits, as the 400 subscribers who logged on for hours at a time have found out. A BT spokesman said: "Basically they are in breach of their terms and conditions, which forbid 'unattended use'. BT Anytime is not an always on product, and excessive use can affect the quality of service for other subscribers."
