NEWS Group buying site Letsbuyit.com is selling some of its old stock in a shop in Stockholm. The company will host a special sale lasting only a few days to get rid of its old stock. The company's boss Magnus Wistam said the move is not permanent and is something the company has planned for quite some time, according to a Swedish Financial newspaper Dagens Handel. Wistam claimed Letsbuyit.com is not selling its old stock in a desperate bid to get extra cash but to get rid of its old stock, consisting mostly of electronic gadgets.. The company made headlines earlier this month when it admitted losing one of its major investors. Shmulik Stein International withdrew its original offer of E30m (£19m) funding for the ailing dot-com. Letsbuyit.com dismissed rumours of its demise as pure speculation and claimed the company has more money coming in.
