NEWS Razorfish has closed its London office, on the back of announcing declining quarterly revenues. The US internet consultancy said the move is part of an effort to cut costs around the world by reducing its number of offices from 15 to 12. Offices in Helsinki and Milan will also be shut down. Sales for the three months to the end of June fell a third to $28.7m. Razorfish peers including Agency.com and MarchFirst, once considered highflying internet stocks, have also suffered over the past 18 months. At one time Razorfish's London operation employed over 200 staff.
