Jeeves gives engine a boost

NEWS Ask Jeeves has boosted its search engine capabilities with the acquisition of Teoma Technologies. The deal will put Ask Jeeves in a position to compete with rivals Alta Vista and Google. CEO of Ask Jeeves Skip Battle said in a statement that following the purchase of the private New Jersey company, Ask Jeeves is now in a position to offer users the best search engine experience on the web. No financial details were disclosed.
