HEX goes for most embarrassing gaffe award

That's another Finn mess they got themselves into...

NEWS The Helsinki Bourse's Technology Index's (HEX) website was briefly filled with obscenities after HEX accidentally published a test site instead of a real one. HEX accidentally put up the offending site instead of the real one as part of the site's re-launch. Unsuspecting users were greeted with information that looked identical to the real HEX site, but the content translated from Finnish was along the lines of: "There is very little reliable information to be found here. We'll be mostly writing wrong market information to the investors so that they'll lose all their money. We'll carry on writing this chauvinistic nonsense and will be publishing the next instalment of the diary of drunken idiots shortly." A spokeswoman for HEX confirmed the blunder and said the silly site was up for less than an hour and was quickly removed.
