Lastminute shares slump

Not a good day for Martha and Brent...

Online shopping portal Lastminute.com has seen its shares fall 21.74 percent to 17.75p today on the London Stock Exchange.

The company began the day at 22.50p, but as soon as the market open it slumped rapidly in the first hour of trading. Lastminute.com's chares had risen as high as 18.30 after the immediate slump, but early afternoon trading showed the company's shares had fallen back to 17.10p.
