NEWS Marketers in dot-com companies have yet to have their bubble burst, according to a survey out today showing they still earn more than fellow marketers in other industries. Senior marketing executives earn more than £7,000 more per year than their bricks and mortar counterparts according to the new figures from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). While the rest of us are tightening our belts it appears the dot-com marketers can still afford to live the champagne lifestyle so redolent of the dot-com boom years. In addition, middle-management marketers at dot-coms earn £3,000 more than their colleagues in traditional industries - a pay hike of more than 10 per cent.
