NEWS Microsoft has delayed the US launch of its game console, the Xbox, by a week The delay is a slap in the face for the company that offered assurances the launch date would not slip after it announced similar, but lengthier, delays in Europe, and more recently in Japan. Although the software giant declined to comment on the nature of the delay, speculation is rife that Microsoft engineers are struggling with the machine's Intel motherboard.
