Sage buys into charity market

Non-profit organisations are a great way to boost your revenues...

NEWS Accounting software maker Sage Group is shelling out £13.7m to buy its way into the charities market. Micro Information Products (MIP), a US company specialising in business applications for charities and other non-profit making organisations, has revenues equivalent to £8m. The cash transaction will bolster Sage's products suite in the US and enable it to continue its strategic move into the market.
