NEWS Disney moved away from distribution yesterday by saying it had no interest in purchasing AT&T's broadband business. Disney warned that it would be very concerned if any one company gained "excessive ownership" of the broadband network. The media giant previously expressed concern that the merger of AOL and Time Warner threatened the competitiveness of the market. The company also stayed quiet on what impact the events of 11 September will have on business, according reports in the FT. For related news, see:
