NEWS Just three months into his chairmanship at troubled UK carrier Redstone Telecom, Simon Slater-Thomas has announced he is moving on. Slater-Thomas was the last remaining member of the team who had been with the company from the start in 1994. CEO and fellow founder, Graham Cove was ousted in June, replaced by current chief executive Ian Brown. Slater-Thomas is understood to be setting up another telecoms company, Reality Network Services. According to the FT he had seen his worth in Redstone shares shrink from £70m to around £70,000 following an emergency placing and open offer.
