CDMA2000 1x EV-DO (formerly known as High Data Rate (HDR) technology)
More advanced than 1x, allows maximum speeds of 2 - 2.1Mbps. Dedicates 1.25MHz of spectrum to data. Possible fixed broadband replacement technology.
BREW - Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless.
Platform for interfaces and over-the-air downloads onto phones (games, ringtones, web etc.). Works with CDMA and GSM/GPRS.W-CDMA networks.
