Red Herring dumps staff

Struggling magazine fires across the board...

NEWS Red Herring is laying off more than a quarter of its employees as the struggling monthly magazine closes its conference division. Cuts are being made across the board from editorial to its business operations, leaving only 102 employees. The company stated jobs will go in the online and conference businesses. On a more positive note, the company has received $10m in funding from its largest shareholder, Broadview Capital Partners.
