Lastminute becomes AOL's preferred partner

Dot-com giants buddy-up

NEWS AOL Europe has made Lastminute.com its preferred partner for late travel, entertainment and shopping deals. Lastminute's offers will now appear on the relevant AOL channels in the UK, France and Germany. Lastminute.com is now the most visited travel site in the UK. Findings from research house Jupiter MMXI showed that Lastminute.com edged ahead of budget rivals Easyjet and Ryanair in September. The site managed to rack-up 770,000 unique users in the month - 270,000 more than Easyjet.
