Scoot open to advances from maximum number of suitors

It's allowed to talk to six, so it's talking to six...

NEWS Yesterday Scoot was given six months to live, today it has revealed it is in talks with six potential partners in an effort to survive. The company is in an offer period and as such it is talking to the allowed maximum of six interested parties, according to executive director Terry Martin, quoted in the Financial Times. At the height of the dot-com bubble the online directory service was valued at up to £1.9bn, allowing it to purchase popular classifieds paper Loot. Now it is valued at just £10m and has sold Loot and its European operations.
