NEWS Amazon's share price hit a four-month high of $12.21 overnight after promising trading during the Thanksgiving weekend. The pioneering e-tailer gained 35 per cent or $3.13 with trading volumes hitting 51 million shares. And it wasn't only Amazon who experienced a little seasonal cheer. eBay gained six per cent to close at $65.16 while barnesandnoble.com closed up 28 per cent to $1.30.
