NEWS Women's portal Handbag.com has revealed its latest audience figures and announced new management appointments which it says put it on course for success. In the latest ABC audit the number of unique users per month rose to 510,000. This is a 26 per cent increase on the figure for May, and is greater than the circulation of women's magazines Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire. Handbag is a joint venture between chemist Boots and Hollinger Group, the owner of the Telelgraph newspaper. Handbag today announced two new non-executive appointments - Zoƫ Morgan, marketing director of Boots, and Emma Soames, editor of the Telegraph magazine.
