NEWS Workers at Spanish ISP Terra Lycos will be forced to take five days paid holiday over the Christmas and New Year break. The company says it will help cut costs. Terra Lycos has suffered from the downturn in internet advertising. Many companies are trying such cost-cutting exercises. These range from shorter working weeks for less money to shutting off air conditioning in the summer (and encouraging staff to wear shorts).
