Fill your stockings online this Christmas

Stress free shopping on the web, but be warned there are still a few turkeys out there...

NEWS Doing your Christmas shopping online will remove all the stress from the experience according to one e-tail research group. IMRG found the majority of e-tail sites it tested offer good delivery times, returns services, gift search facilities and even gift wrapping services. All sites included plenty of special offers and discount prices. John Lewis' online shopping site got top marks for excellent content, usability, customer services and delivery. The worst sites visited were Christmas crackers site Crackers.com, which was adjudged to have a poor choice of products and limited customer services, and The country Victualler, which failed to give any delivery details and even failed to put prices on its range of traditional Christmas food and drink. However, most of the sites visited did not specify last order dates - bad news for last minute shoppers.
