NEWS Amazon.com is offering visitors to its site the chance to send gift certificates to serving US troops. The $20 voucher can be used to buy books, videos or any other Amazon product. The e-tailer will also donate 10 per cent of the total raised to the United Service Organisation. The certificates will be distributed to individual members of the US Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy by the Defense Department. The scheme runs until 26 December.
