NEWS BT is discussions with digital set-top box manufacturer Pace as part of its widely predicted move into broadcasting. Malcolm Miller, CEO of Pace, predicts the telco will launch its broadcast service by the end of this year. Shares in Pace dropped yesterday by six per cent after the UK based company cut its second half sales forecasts following the sector's falling prices.
