Wireless marketers go it together

Two heads are better than one...

NEWS Mobile marketing is set to hit the big time as the Wireless Advertising Association (WAA) and Wireless Marketing Association (WMA) announce plans to merge. The two industry bodies will form an organisation called the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to concentrate resources and energy. The marketing and advertising group will combine key sector members including AOL and Nokia from the WAA plus BT Cellnet, Freeserve, Orange and Vodafone from the WMA. Cyriac Roeding of 12snap will chair the MMA supported by co-chairs Steve Wunker from Brainstorm and Booky Oren of Comverse.
