At least revenues increased...

NEWS Juniper has reported for its fourth quarter results and reflected on a year that was tough for almost all communications equipment suppliers. Revenue for the three-month period ending 31 December 2001 slid 25 per cent to $151m compared to the previous quarter, while pro forma net profit stood at $15.9m down from $32.5m. For the whole of fiscal 2001, profits decreased 7.7 per cent to $169.9m, although revenues went up to $887m - a figure the company highlighted as an accomplishment given the difficult conditions.
