Amazon's Lot must be a happy Lot...

NEWS In the latest reshuffling of personnel at Amazon, former Apple executive Thomas Lot has been appointed new VP and general manager for Europe. Frenchman Lot will take up the post after current VP Philipp Humm said he is resigning to pursue other unnamed "professional opportunities". Lot will also take over the post of Amazon.fr CEO which has been empty since Georges Aoun resigned earlier this month. Amazon.com posted its first ever profit last week, with the European operations being among the quickest growing parts of the group.
