ABCNews is through with Yahoo!

This time it's hooked up with the Real thing...

NEWS ABCNews.com has broken its content supply deal with Yahoo! in favour of a more profitable contract with the Realnetworks RealOne subscription service. The exclusive contract with RealNetworks will usurp the long standing arrangement between ABCNews and Yahoo!'s free news service. RealOne is available to subscribers for $9.95 each month which provides users with access to news content from CNN and Fox Sports, and to record MP3s and CDs plus over 2000 radio stations. A spokeswoman from ABCNews said: "Since October we've been part of RealNetworks' RealOne service and it's been such a success, we've decided to become one of several content providers supplying exclusive content." The spokeswoman was unable to comment on expected revenues from the venture.
