Dot-com boom boys return for seconds

If at first you don't succeed...

NEWS Two men who made their names in the heady days of the dot-com boom are returning to the front with a new venture. Jonathan Rowland, who founded internet investment firm Jellyworks, and Dan Wagner, from Bright Station, both enjoyed the highs of the dot-com boom before suffering the lows of the subsequent bust. Rowland has now joined the board of Venda, an ecommerce platform established by Wagner. Venda charges small businesses £4,000 per month to run e-tail operations on its platform - based on the technology Bright Station salvaged from dot-com disaster boo.com.
