Worldcom suspends 'order book' three

"A few bad apples who figured out how to break the rules..."

NEWS Three Worldcom employees at the centre of an order-booking scandal face the sack as the US telco confirmed it was undertaking an internal enquiry into the affair. One saleswoman is accused of improperly boosting her own commission, while two other employees are accused of boosting their team's sales commission in an effort to raise their own take-home pay. Worldcom's general counsel told the Wall Street Journal: "You're talking about a few bad apples here who figured out how to game the system and break the rules."
