eBay quashes trademark opponent

NEWS Pioneering auction site eBay has settled its trademark dispute with rival Bidbay. Although BidBay has not admitted liability, it will no longer use either its corporate name or the bidbay.com domain name. eBay accused the company of completely ripping-off its highly recognised and well-established site and brand. eBay is also in on-going discussions with other parties also accused of 'piggybacking' is household name brand.
