...with a little help from Hutchison...

NEWS Autonomy is taking its infrastructure technology to the 3G market in a strategic move that will see it ink a deal with Hutchison 3G in Europe and Asia. The technology, which made Autonomy a one time darling of the London Stock Exchange, automates unstructured information. Hutchison will be using it to classify and deliver location-specific information to customers in the form of news, ecommerce and music-on-demand. Autonomy's technology will also drive down maintenance costs related to information processing, according to Hutchison.
