NEWS A consortium of bankers has agreed a funding deal to keep the wolves from Energis's door. The loan extension will allow the troubled telecoms carrier's to free up more cash to keep its European operations afloat. According to the Financial Times, rival operator Colt has expressed an interest in Energis's Dutch operations. Energis last week admitted it was looking for buyers or equity partners for its UK business.
